Future Pathways
ATEFEO (Atelier d’Éducation et des Formations des Enfants Orphelins), meaning Orphans Education Program, was founded to support orphaned and vulnerable children through education and community-based initiatives in Burkina Faso.
In response to the evolving needs of communities and the desire to create a broader and more sustainable impact, the organization is undertaking a strategic transition to a new identity and strengthened model:
ATEFEO Future Pathways Initiative
We equip vulnerable children and families with our five connected pillars needed to transition successfully into independent and productive adulthood.
Ensure access to Primary healthcare, Nutrition and food security, Maternal and child health, Mental health and psychosocial support, Hygiene and sanitation education, Preventive healthcare initiatives
Helping to secure quality education and learning opportunities that prepare children for long-term success, Leadership and life-skills development.
Help children build confidence, resilience, independence, and leadership capacity.
Build supportive environments where children and families can thrive together.
Prepare youth for productive and independent adulthood.
As an orphanage, our goals, and objectives are to provide a safe, nurturing home for the abused, neglected, and homeless children and ensure that the children in our care receive food, clothing, health care, shelter, and most importantly, love and security.
